The casing is one of the oil pipes. The pipes used in oil are collectively referred to as oil pipes. The oil pipes include finished oil casings, drill pipes, drill collars, couplings and short rods.
The casing is a steel pipe supporting the oil and gas well wall. Each well is based on different depths of drilling and geology, using several layers of casing. After the casing is down, the cement is used for cementing. It is different from the oil pipe and the drill pipe and cannot be reused. It is a consumable material. Therefore, the consumption of casing accounts for more than 70% of all oil well pipes. Casing can be divided into: duct, surface casing, technical casing and oil casing.
