Installation and use of JMIJ type diaphragm coupling:
1. Before installation, first check whether the two shafts of the prime mover and the working machine are concentric, whether there are wrapping paper and bruises on the surface of the two shafts, whether there are sundries in the inner holes of the two and a half couplings of the coupling, and whether there are any debris on the edges of the inner holes. For bruises, if any, the shaft and half-coupling should be cleaned up, and the bruises should be treated with a fine file. Then check whether the diameter and length of the inner holes of the two half-couplings are consistent with the diameter and shaft extension of the prime mover and working machine. Generally, when selecting the type, it is better to make the length of the half-coupling of the prime mover and the working machine end less than the shaft extension length of 10-30mm.
2. In order to facilitate installation, it is best to place the two half-couplings in a 120--150 incubator or oil tank for preheating, so that the size of the inner hole will increase and it will be easy to install. After installation, protect the shaft head from protruding from the end face of the half-coupling, and it is better to be flush. Detect the distance between the two half-couplings: along both sides of the flange of the half-coupling, measure the readings of 3-4 points to take the average value, and the sum of the measured dimensions of the extended section and the two diaphragm groups, both errors are controlled within the range of 0-0.4mm.
3. Alignment: Use a dial indicator to detect the runout of the end face and the outer circle of the two-half coupling flange. When the outer circle of the flange is less than 250mm, the runout value should not be greater than 0.05mm; when the outer circle of the flange is greater than 250mm, the beating value should not be greater than 0.08.
