The completion method refers to the specific connection method between the wellbore of the oil and gas well and the production target layer, as well as the wellbore structure, wellhead device and technical measures adopted to achieve a specific connection method.
Perforation completion methods:
1. Perforated casing completion
Perforated casing completion is to drill through the oil layer up to the designed well depth, and then run the production casing to cement the well at the bottom of the oil layer, and finally perforate. The perforating projectile penetrates the casing of the oil layer, the cement ring and penetrates the oil layer to a certain depth to establish a passage of oil flow.
2. Liner perforation completion
Liner perforation completion is that after the drill bit reaches the top boundary of the oil layer, the casing is injected to cement the well, and then drill the oil layer to the designed well depth with a small-level drill bit, send the tail pipe down and hang it on the casing with a drilling tool, then inject cement into the tail pipe for cementing, and finally perforate.
3. Slotted liner completion
After the bit is drilled to the top boundary of the oil layer, the casing shall be run first for cement injection and well cementation, then a bit with a smaller diameter shall be run into the casing to drill through the oil layer to the designed well depth. Finally, the pre-selected slotted liner is placed under the oil layer, and the liner is hung on the casing by the hanger on the top of the liner.
