The displacement is calculated by the number of liters discharged per minute. It is related to the diameter of the borehole and the required speed of the flushing fluid returning from the bottom of the hole. The larger the hole diameter, the larger the displacement.
It is required that the upward return speed of the flushing fluid can flush the cuttings and rock powder cut by the mud pump bit away from the bottom of the hole in time and carry it to the surface reliably. When the geological core is drilled, the general upward return speed is about 0.41 m/min.
The pressure of the pump depends on the resistance of the channel through which the deep and shallow flushing fluid of the borehole passes and the properties of the flushing fluid delivered. The deeper the hole, the higher the resistance and the higher the pressure required.
The displacement of the pump can also be adjusted at any time as the diameter and depth of the borehole change. In the mechanism of the mud pump, there is a gearbox or a hydraulic motor to adjust its speed to achieve the purpose of changing the displacement.
In order to accurately grasp the changes in the pressure and displacement of the pump, a flow meter and a pressure gauge should be installed on the mud pump so that the drillers can understand the operation of the pump at any time, and judge whether the condition in the hole is normal through the pressure change to prevent accidents in the hole.
Mud pump cylinder liner, cylinder top liner, cylinder head, tie rod, piston, piston pressure plate, leather cup, piston seat, piston rod, plunger rod, intake and drain valve, intake and drain valve seat, cross head, cross head Sliding sleeve, cross pin shaft, crankshaft, connecting rod, connecting rod upper and lower bushes, connecting rod copper sleeve, connecting rod screw nut, crown nut, skeleton oil seal, O-ring, bearing and matching gears, shafts, etc. If there is a quality problem, you should pay attention to it when purchasing and using it.
1. After the mud pump is fixed at the work site, it is necessary to check whether the main shaft of the prime mover and the main shaft of the pump are on the same axis.
2. The inlet and outlet pipes of the pump should have bearing supports to avoid the gravity of the pipes being applied to the pump body. Packing chamber assemblies will wear out quickly without high pressure water protection.
3. When the mud pump is working, high-pressure clean water must be injected into the packing chamber to protect the shaft seal assembly. The main pump of the mud pump shall not close the high-pressure clean water pump during normal operation.
4. The suction stroke in the pump performance table refers to the anti-erosion characteristics of the pump under the condition of normal temperature and clean water. When pumping sediment, the inlet pressure of the pump should be as positive as possible.
5. When replacing the impeller, lining plate and other wearing parts, the gap between the impeller and the front and rear lining plates should be adjusted. The size of the axial gap between the impeller and the lining plate has a great influence on the performance and service life of the pump.
6. Please add lubricating grease to the bearing parts of the mud pump in a timely and appropriate amount. The clean water pressure should be greater than the working pressure of the mud pump. Pipeline installation should extend outward from the pump inlet and outlet flanges, and support positioning should be done immediately.
7. When the pump has abnormal vibration, noise and high bearing temperature rise during operation, it should be stopped immediately for inspection. When the sediment contains larger solid particles, the flow head of the pump will also be affected, and the medium should be considered when selecting the model.
