A flat gate valve with a defector hole has features including reliable sealing performance, small on-off torque, resistance to sulfur, abrasion resistance, long service life, able to clean pipelines by hairball, and other features.
It is a suitable on-off device in a pipeline system of corrosive and non-corrosive mediums such as water, petroleum, natural gas, steam, etc. It is especially suitable for petrifaction, oil, gas, etc.
1. Sealing structure of the valve seat shall have upstream and downstream seal seats sealed simultaneously with elasticity and pretension force. Valve seat and sealing material shall always be face-to-face sealed.
2. Valve seat has automatic cleaning function, and will not affect by direct washing of air current during valve starting or stopping the process. The valve seat shall be made of lubricative and intact materials.
3. Valve actuator fault will not affect other parts of the WKM gate valve. The maintenance and replacement of the flat gate valve can be conducted without removing the valve.
(1) Yoke sleeve: aluminum bronze yoke sleeve is equipped with needle thrust bearing, which can reduce operating torque to an extreme.
(2) Valve rod: thread length till to bracket, dowel, and spot welding, with stability.
(3) Pressure sealing: simple structure, equipped with segment retaining ring and silvered low carbon steel washer, which contributes to disassembly and best bonnet sealing of flat gate valve.
(4) Seat ring: weld seat ring perpendicular to flow channel, easy to maintain.
(5) Actuator: these valves can be equipped with electric, liquid-operated or pneumatic actuators. The standard manual handwheel is for those below DN300, and the actuator with helical gear for above DN350.
(6) Yoke: fully fabricated yoke passes shock test, and easily maintains and installs actuator.
(7) Gland: two-piece, self-regulating gland of flat gate valve, to avoid popup.
(8) Integral backseat: with hard surface and the longest service life.
A flat gate valve without a defector hole is used as an on-off device, suitable for delivery line, air defense system, and gas storage installation such as natural gas, petroleum, chemical engineering, environment protection, urban duct, burning line, etc. It is suitable for long-distance pipelines for natural gas extraction and conditioning.
1. Principles of the flat gate valve without the defector hole
A flat gate valve without a defector hole is a kind of sliding valve whose closure member is a parallel wedge. The closure member can be a single disc or a double disc with the open institution.
The pressing force from the wedge to the valve seat is controlled by medium pressure acting on the floating gate or floating seat. For a flat gate valve with a double-disc, the open institution between double-disc can supplement to pressing force.
